Characteristics |
| NBR |
40-90 |
NBR compounds can exhibit excellent compression set, tear and abrasion resistance, but they do not have good resistance to ozone, sunlight, or weather.
More than 60 kinds of compounds with numerous colors for your choice. Good gasoline resistance, heat and abrasion resistance, lubricated especially, applied to general and edible commodities. |
| EPDM |
40-90 |
EPDM compounds have excellent resistance to Skydrol and other phosphate ester fluids at higher temperature. They also have excellent resistance to brake fluids and steam.
More than 30 kinds of compounds with numerous colors for your choice. Good brake oil resistance, excellent heat resistance, applied to general and edible commodities. |
| SILICONE |
40-80 |
Silicone compounds exhibit the best over all temperature range of all currently available elastomers. They have good high temperature and low temperature resistance, but they cannot be used in dynamic applications due to their poor tensile and tear strength. They should be considered to be non-petroleum applications.
More than 30 kinds of compounds with numerous colors for your choice. Good resistance to tear and heat, transparent, applied to general and edible commodities. |
| FLUOROCARBON |
60-80 |
FLUOROCARBON compounds have excellent resistance to petroleum products, low compression set and high temperature resistance. They are especially good for hard vacuum service and low gas permeability.
More than 30 kinds of compounds with numerous colors for your choice. Good resistance to heat and cold, low resistance to compression set, applied to general commodities. |
| HYPALON |
50-90 |
Resist to heat, ozone, weathering and oxidizing chemicals. It has good resistance to strong acids at room temperature.
Maximum operating temperature: -500F to 2300F continuous service |
| POLYURETHENE |
40-85 |
Polyurethane has excellent abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility, tear resistance, ozone and weathering resistance. Polyurethane has outstanding oil and fuel resistance and is generally resistance to moderate chemicals, fats, diluted acids, and many hydrocarbons.
Maximum operating temperature: -500F to 3000F continuous service |
